July 4th....

20 weeks 3 days...

Jaden and I attempted to be festive even though I was still feeling icky. You can't see it in the pic, but we were wearing a red necklace too ;0)

Belly pic...

Well, like I mentioned...I won't know how far along I REALLY am until after the ultrasound, but I figured I'll post this anyway, because if I'm wrong I'll have to change everything from the beginning regardless whether I post this or not. So....here's the belly!

We're growing! There is no doubt about it! I've gained about 7-8 lbs so far. Now that I've popped and actually look like I'm nourishing a life...not just overeating, I absolutely LOVE my belly! There's something so fascinating and precious about a baby belly!!! :0)

I still get nauseous, but in the last week it seems to have subsided a little. It's mostly early in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon and late at night. If I wake up in the middle of the night (typically 2-3 times...I'm sure you know what I mean) I'm usually really sick thanks to my prenatals. I have to take them just before bed so I'm not sick the whole day. If I didn't have to pee every couple hours at night it'd be great because I could just sleep off the nausea ;0)

Josh and I noticed that my belly button has started changing. I thought that was interesting. I've always had a very tight, small innie...but I'm noticing that the bigger the belly gets, the more noticeable my belly button becomes. It'll be an outie before long I assume.

I've been craving fresh fruit and veggies (hence the previous post), especially PEACHES! I LOVE PEACHES! I've been on a serious kick! Peach and Ginger tea, Peach cobbler, fresh whole peaches...yeah...you get the idea!

I'm not really sleeping well...between the pee breaks every 2 hours and nausea I'm lucky if I get a few hours of true "rest". I'm up between 6:30 and 7 at the latest.

My sister in law gave us some more of her old baby stuff....we now have a diaper genie, wipe warmer, bibs, and wipes.

My mother in law gave us one of the pack and plays she had...so we're getting there!!! :0)

Other than that I don't think anything else has changed....we can't wait for Wednesday to get here! I cannot wait for us to see the baby together and find out for sure what is going on. I'm so in love with this child already! I stare at the little pic all day! Can't wait to see this little one again!

Belly pic...

So far other than starting to fit into some maternity pants, everything is still pretty much the same. I've still been nauseous most of the day...and I tire very easily. Getting through regular household chores can be quite a challenge. I'm still sleeping as much as I can although the last few weeks have been super busy so I haven't gotten near enough sleep (this has caused me to be slightly cranky on more than one occasion). I'm still having some terrible back pains (ligaments + hormones = ouch!) I read in a magazine that it's pretty much one of those things that some women deal with and some don't....I'm always starving, but food doesn't really taste "good"....the only thing that I can think of that I've really been "craving" so far are veggie dogs (you know the soy stuff) and corn on the cobb.

Belly pic...

I've mentioned it before...the belly keeps changing! Lol...not as in getting much bigger...but the "shape" of the bump. It's so weird to me, but everyone keeps assuring me that it's normal. I noticed that (well to me anyway) it looks like the bump is higher up now vs. when I first found out that I was pregnant...it seemed lower. It makes sense since I read that the uterus sits higher now than it was. Which is also why I kept getting those awful pains on both sides...apparently those were stretching ligaments. The last couple days were a little rough....I have been very crampy and my back has been pretty sore. I tried to find something about it in my book...but the only thing I can think of is that the munckin is simply growing. I'm not sure if it's because I have a very small build...or what...but I haven't noticed any scary warning signs (trust me that's always the first thing that pops in my head...I assume that is normal too). It's in GOD's hands and he can take better care of this little one than I ever will be able to, so I trust that whatever happens it is HIS will. I'm sure it will all be fine. :0) I'm still feeling the typical...nausea (all day long), soreness....fatique....I get hungry but nothing really tastes too great, or sounds very appealing. I think the only thing that has been really good were cinnamon rolls (Apparently baby doesn't quite yet share my enthusiasm for nutritious foods, lol). I've always loved Watermelon and I still do ...but after I eat it I don't feel so great. Anything with garlic and onion makes me sick. We live practically next door to Carabbas and the smell of the food is absolutely appalling (funny seeing as how much I LOVED Italian food prior to pregnancy). So I think that's probably about all that I can think of that has changed. Any guesses on gender? So far it's 2 and 2. My mom and sister think girl...my mother in law and sister in law think boy...Josh and I ....NO IDEA. We can't seem to think of any boy names we like enough though....and I have a never ending list of girl name ideas...hmmm...

Belly Pic...

March 28, 2010

So again, it's not exactly a baby belly yet...I just look like I've been enjoying a few too many treats, but it's so strange to see a belly of any kind on me. It's so weird because some days I look and feel bigger than others (supposedly that's normal from what I read). I figured I'll take a picture once a week regardless if it's baby showing or not. I like documenting things....it's fun to look back on them later.

First belly pic...

Ok...so at nearly six weeks (this Friday) it's probably more bloating than baby but I figured I'd post the before pic for memories anyway. I definitely feel my clothes fitting differently and the other night before we even knew that we were pregnant Josh made a comment ...."honey, you must be really full!" Yes...he's a goober sometimes, but I love him dearly and he doesn't mean for these things to come out the way they do, lol....but they do! Thank GOD I know he doesn't mean them "that way"...lol. He felt really bad after I gave him "the look" and we both had a good laugh about it once we realized why I had looked so "full".

What's so strange to me is that up until about a week ago I wasn't having any symptoms at all. So far I've been fortunate enough not to have morning sickness (PLEASE GOD LET IT STAY THAT WAY!) I've mostly just felt extremely tired...but can't seem to sleep at night, crampy, emotional....had headaches, bloating (I guess...but what do I know...maybe it's all in my head) of course the boobs were sooooo very sore! Oh yeah...and I feel like I have to pee like every 15 minutes!

According to the research I've done online....baby has a heartbeat, eyes, ears and brain/nervous system are forming. It's crazy to think what's going on in there!!!
