6+ months later....Mamma's favorites!

It's been about 6 1/2 months since my little man came home. It's so hard to believe it's been that long already! It has gone by so fast! I've used a number of different products on him trying to find what works, and what we like...I'm no snob when it comes to store brand, so long as it works (I am on a tight budget, so if I can cut costs, I will) here's what we like/don't like:

Like:

Johnson's Honey Apple wash/lotion (oh it smells sooooo good!...and it's gentle)
Aveeno Eczema cream for baby (Jaden has eczema breakouts every so often)
Desitin diaper rash ointment (worked best for him...I also tried buttpaste and aveeno...but desitin worked best)
Huggies Pure and Natural Diapers (I really like the Luv's...they're inexpensive and really do hold the blowouts like they claim...but my boy's hiney is a bit sensitive and when it's hot out he's prone to diaper rash so we had to switch back to the expensive diapers...they're gentle and super soft)
Huggies thick wipes (I love the cucumber and green tea...I think that's the right scent...so refreshing...lets face it...when the booty is in a diaper all day...it's necessary!!!)
Little noses saline drops (poor Jaden definitely needed those over the winter months!)
Enfamil Gentlease (after two months of struggling with breastfeeding...Jaden decided he'd had enough. I was sad to give it up...still am, but he got to the point where he refused to try...and I wasn't about to force him. He had some colic issues in the beginning and this formula helped a lot!)
Mum mums (great finger food for little ones who aren't ready for cheerios and such)

Dislikes:
Dr. Brown's bottles (plastic ones leak...very badly!!! so very annoying! The glass one's aren't as bad)
Pampers...not a fan
Target brand and walmart brand diapers (you get what you pay for with those...
Parent's choice baby lotion (doesn't hold true to it's claim of comparing to Johnson's)
Target brand baby wash (again...not comparable to Johnson's)
Parent's choice wipes (not terrible, but they won't work with my wipe warmer...I end up fighting to get them through...)

So...there you have it. My two cents ;)

  1. Walmart has the generic version of the Gentlease - I use it for Aiden. I think Target does too. Just fyi :)
