Mommy Progress Report...

(wow that mirror was dustier than I thought...sorry about that!)

6 weeks post partum:
Pre-pregnancy weight: 107 lbs
38 weeks (date of delivery): 144 lbs
2 weeks post partum: 121 lbs
6 weeks post partum: 124 lbs (not sure why it was more than at my two week weigh in...possibly because they were different scales. I don't really feel or look like I gained weight. Either way, weight wise I'm pretty happy with where I'm at right now...mostly I just want to tone my belly and lower half, as far as weight goes, we'll see what feels and looks good).
Goal weight: 115 lbs

The biggest problem I'm having is my hips...not sure if they'll go back down or not. Right now I don't fit into any pants. My maternity pants are too loose and slide down and my regular pants I can't get past my hips.

Another strange thing is my feet. I read that during pregnancy some women's feet "grow" (the ligaments stretch due to the same hormones that allow the pelvis to do its thing)...and I can't fit into any of my shoes either. Needless to say my wardrobe is extremely limited. I have one pair of pants that I bought and one pair of worn out flip flops that I can wear relatively comfortably.

So that's that... 6 weeks after baby boo :)

  3. See it's not as hard as you thought to loose the weight. Once you tone, things will be that much easier too! :) (I have FOUR... I can defend my tummy! Haha!)

These things will pass. My Michael had colic... it is rough to go through, but you are doing wonderful! Thanks for the updates on how he is doing! <3

(And I love that you captured the picture of your two sweetpeas! It's a touching moment between Father and Son!!)

  4. Wow, I'm so proud of how you are not afraid to post your real weight numbers! You go girl! I found that with my first baby I lost all the weight in about 3 weeks. And with Mark it took 4 months...I would just say, keep doing everything you are doing, eating right, exercising and drinking lots of water and before you know it you will be right where you want to be! You look beautiful!

  5. You look awesome! I remember it took awhile for my hips to go back down too. I'm still not where I want to be, but that's prob because I eat way too much Nutella. Oops! New Year's Resolution for me I guess. :p
